Moinul is currently the director of Rubab Agro Fisheries Pvt Ltd located in Salora Dulla Muktagacha, Mymensingh. His father is the managing director and founder of Rubab Agro Fisheries, established in 1996, and has overseen the growth of the fisheries over the years. His mother is a housewife and also the Chairperson of Rubab Agro Fisheries Pvt Ltd. Moinul is also the grandson of the late Moazzem Hossain Khan, who was the founder of Crescent Furniture Ltd in Dhaka, founded in 1965. He has a younger brother, Manirul, who is studying in his last semester at Independent University Bangladesh (IUB).
